Under the Sea

I know I should probably have made a Halloween creation for todays post - being Halloween and all - but here in Australia we don't really celebrate it & I felt like playing with some embossing powder and sprinkles and this gorgeous image from the store by Nora Blansett - she is just gorgeous!

I used paint and embossing ink which actually spilt all over the page and my journal - what a mess I ended up with!! I added a bit of embossing powder and tried to "clean" it all up and emboss the page! It all ended up a bit wet LOL but I am still happy with the effect!

Hope you all have a great Halloween!

Deliver Me by Nora Blansett

Happy Friday y'all.  Emily here with some inspiration using Nora Blansett's Deliver Me image.

I am sorry for the glare, but I cannot get it to photograph without it.  I even tried scanning it and that was worse.  I used Sakura Glitter Gel Pens to color in this image and it made it super sparkly.  The background paper is Colorbok and has a peacock feather on it.  The flowers are Recollections.  I used Colorbok card stock for the mats and card base.

Thanks for stopping in today to see what the ladies at the Royal Castle have been up to.  Thanks Nora for such a lovely image to work with.  Check out our Facebook page too for more inspiration.

Thanks,
Emily T.

Wonderful Nixie Girl

Today I am sharing a card using a great Nora Blansett digi available from Queen Kat Designs - Nixie Girl - She really is so beautiful & peaceful - I think that's why I love this image so much - makes me feel peaceful & calm - LOL!

Image is coloured with Copic Markers and fussy cut - I love to fussy cut images - I'm not keen on white space which is probably why I struggle with CAS style cards!! I love the soft greens & earthy tones of the patterned paper & little flags. I added some rubs ons to the cream coloured card strip and to finish off some matching fibre & ribbon & little key charm at the spine!

I hope you are all having a great week and I shall be back next week to share another creation with you!

Changes

Good Morning Everyone! So great to see you today. I would like to share a card that I created with an image drawn by Nora Blansett: I created this card by: 1) Using shiny card stock and streaking it with momento inks in silver, copper and a shimmering white. 2) Printed out my image and did just a bit of coloring with my metallic pens and inks. 3) Used bling from the Tim Holtz line and a bit of glitter card stock on the bottom. Although, you can't see much of the DSP it is full of gears. You can see more of Nora's line at the Queen Kat Design store or by clicking HERE Have a great day and I will be seeing you soon. SueH.

My Puzzled Heart

Hello everyone and happy Thursday! It is so good to talk to everyone today. I have a neat card for you that I created from a stamp made by Nora Blansett. Here take a look:
This is a great stamp to use for Valentine Day, Birthday or Anniversary. I used stampin up papers with the main card in textured cardstock, except the white which is stitched water color paper. Used glitter pens, markers and of course prisma pencils to complete my coloring. Used the circle cutter for the two circles. Applied a cluster of star bling. Please enjoy and see you next week. Sue.
