My Secret Love

I had fun playing with my QKD Build a Bot set to create a bot with a secret message!

With a second print of the "body" and a few brads I had a secret stash for my little guy's love!

Don't forget Dad!

I love how versatile the Get Inked stamps
truly are! I know Father's Day is still a bit away but I really wanted to make something for Dad with this stamp set! I used chipboard to create the cover and I also up cycled a few bits and pieces laying around my house. The type on the front of the book says:
The key (get it ...KEY, ok sorry) to a wonderful family
is a kind and loving father
happy father's day 2009

I LOVE LOVE LOVE masking tape and with a little stazon
you I made my own decotape for the spine.
I filled the book with blank cardstock pages I'm not sure if this will become a scrapbook,
photo album, or if I will just let the boys draw in it for Daddy.
There are tons of tutorials on the web for journal and book making how to's,
have fun with it!!!

Birds of a feather....

are flocked and glittered together!

Looking for another fun way to use your stamps without having to color them in. Well here is and idea, grab your glue pads, a little flocking powder and some lose glitter! It's as easy as stamping your fav QKD stamp with the glue, sprinkling some flock or glitter over the image, and tapping off the excess back into the bottle! So easy yet so touchy feely fun!

Lovin' the Fairy Flowers!!!

When I first saw the Fairy Flowers I wasn't sure how I was going to use them. They intrigued me, sparked interest for a challenge, so When V asked me if I wanted to make samples for them I said sure! They sat on my desk mocking me waiting to be played with, but I was uncertain just how to use them... I was thinking too much! As soon as I inked them up, I was in love. There are so many possibilities with this set and my samples barely even get me started lol. These a a blast to play with, so pick up your set today. Psst they look great with the new fairy stamps too, hehehe!
