Change in plans....

The last leg of the Queen Kat Designs Blog Party is going to be at Heidi's blog. Come and party with us over there. She's our newest addition to the Court. Heidi will have her first challenge up in a little bit!

Tomorrow's the day!

Well... January is almost over! I'm so thankful!! It has been a very looooong month and sooooo many changes have come about in the Royal Court and with Queen Kat Designs. I'm looking forward to getting back to 'normal', what ever that is! Here's the final sneek peek for the new stamps to come out tomorrow! Queen Kat Designs is proud to welcome a new stamp designer to the Royal Court. Tanis Geisbrecht from Canada is our wonderful new Royal Stamp Chancellor. Her drawings are so cute! Ok everyone.... It's only 1 day away! Are you getting excited?? We are!! I just received the names of some of the new stamps from my designer and they are sooooo cute! (Just like the designs)..... So for this sneek peek.. It's not really a peek but a tease! One of the names is "Buddy".

It's a party!

Let the party begin! Welcome to the New Year's round robin blog party!! It all starts now!

Below are 2 challenges for you to complete today. That's right, TODAY! This round of the party is only 1 day, but for the remainder of the party, each Royal Court Member will have 3 days on their blog. There will be nothing going on on Sundays. Just keep coming back to this blog for updates on the party!! Stick with us and have some fun.

Challenge 1: Pick a QK sketch from the gallery here. Create a card with it. Make sure your card looks somewhat like the sketch so we can see how you used it.

Challenge 2: Lift a card from the gallery and create a card using it as an idea. Make sure you use at least 2 layers and 2 embellishments.


Info on how to show us your art: upload your cards/projects to an online gallery or photo hosting site and comment to this thread with the link to your photo. (I use www.photobucket.com). Please do not upload your art to the QKD gallery UNLESS it uses QKD stamps.

Prize info: Each blog will have 1 prize stamp set to give out. Each Royal Court member will have their own way of choosing a winner so make sure to read the info on their blog. How will the prize be determined on this blog? It's simple! Every entry that successfully completes the challenge will be entered into a drawing. 1 winner will be chosen and announced on Friday, January 4. Prizes will begin to mail on Jan 15th. Each person may enter each challenge 2 times. That's 4 entries to the prize. Make them your best work!

Entries are due tonight by midnight PST! You must link me to your photo by that time or you will not be entered into the drawing.
