I mean, what good is all your crafty goodness if you don't use it for the biggest wrapping day of the year!? I LOVE making homemade giftwrap, boxes, any kind of packaging. For this paper, I used pigment inks in 2 different silvers and a baby blue. I used the Fancy Christmas set again to match the tag. After drying and wrapping, I tied some polka dot white ribbon around the gift, attaching my tag. I love the look of kraft paper, so I just buy rolls of postal wrapping paper at the dollar store well before Christmas and decorate it as I wrap.
Now, don't forget to scroll down to see Anita's beautiful card from this morning using the Fancy Christmas set as well!

P.S. This beautiful stamp set is on sale in the store right now for under $6!!!
If you are following Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of Christmas, then you know this tag follows the general concept of his tutorial for Day 12 (which was yesterday on his blog). You will have to go to his blog for the detailed directions, but I can explain how I made my tag. First I have to tell you that I nearly fainted when I saw Tim's Day 12 tag because I knew it was a perfect fit for Queen Kat Designs stamps!!!!! I used the QKD Funky Swirl stamp and the QKD Aged Text Background stamp.
For the windows, I cut four rectangles on the opening gates of my card. Then I stamped the wonderful cat from the Ride With Me Stamp Set on one of the transparencies before sandwiching it between the cardstock and patterned paper.
On the inside, I wanted to do some sort of scene so I grabbed last year's Christmas patterned paper (why do I always manage to buy too much?) and stamped the bicycle and tree again from the Ride With Me Stamp Set.
Then I just used a rub-on to put in my sentiment: Believe.
I just wanted to leave you with the message that no matter how tough this year has been (it has been particularly rough on my family), know that things do get better and there's always room for Christmas in our hearts.
Sending you lots of love and blessings for the holidays and beyond.
Kindly keep on coming back for more fabulous inspiration from the team. And God bless you always!

I first saw this tag/ornament idea on Bekka Feeken's phenomenal projects blog and just knew I had to try it! This is my first attempt, and I shall be honing my skills with this until Christmas!
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you enjoy the release day hop. All of our new stamps are in the store now ready for your ink pad! Hop over to Shannon's blog for more fun.
Instead of attaching a magnet, you could also run the finished project through a Xyron with the magnet/laminate cartridge, than simply cut out with scissors or a punch,
Make sure to check out Anita's gorgeous card for today down below! And make sure to stop back tomarrow for the 2nd new release blog hop & the addition of the new releases to the QKD store!
