We hope you're enjoying taking a stroll down memory lane with us this month as we show off our favorite oldies-but-goodies acrylic stamps from the QKD Store.
Remember, it's your last chance to get these beauties for yourself before they run out! Once they're gone, they're gone.
For this week, we have this wonderful sketch as inspiration:

I'm still enjoying my Christmas in July projects and here's the second card I came up with:
Here I used a snowman from Jonathan Pitcher's wonderful Northern Exposure Stamp Set and used the snowflake from the Holiday Sweater Set Stamp Set to decorate the white space around it.
I had a time with figuring out how to create a folded ribbon effect and poured a ton of plain white glue on the ribbons, but for the life of me, they wouldn't stick. I tried to add Ranger's Glossy Accents to them but by that time, the glue was a sticky mess. Trying to do the best I could, I stuck on some of these red plastic beads as decoration and as "pressing points" to push down the ribbon in place.
After leaving it to dry overnight, I was happy to accidentally come up with a card with stiffened ribbon. Hehe.
Now, have fun and get hopping! See you at the lovely Lara's Blog!
