Happy Easter!

Well for a change of pace, I am showing some of my favorite card designs from the Design Team for the next few weeks.
This one uses the Curious Kitty stamps set. I found it the cool idea Gallery at Queen Kat Designs.
With the pretty pastels, scallops, bow and pearls it just called out to be shown on Easter. A darling little card like this would have been perfect for an Easter Basket, or maybe a cute little basket of may day flowers.
To be honest, this is my most used stamp set. That little kitty and dragonfly go on a lot of packages when I have time to dress up my mail.

Back to School

No more pencils, no more books, no more teacher's dirty looks? Ugh. Sadly, no. Cheer up, anxious parents and dismayed students, we're here to bring back the cool in school.

Here's a layout where I used traditional school items but which talks about my thoughts on life and what my son has taught me.

Whenever I think of back-to-school, I think of my favorite place -- the library. (Yes, I was such a nerd.) And of course that means I just have to pull out my Library Card Stamp.

P.S. This is my son circa five years ago. I so miss him being this small.

Inspiration challenge: Scrap about life lessons, the stuff you've learned so far. The most important learning doesn't actually happen in the classroom. This is your life. So go ahead and scrap it.

Inspire Me layout

As moms we always tend to be the ones taking the pictures and the ones we most likely forget to scrap about.

A simple "All About Me" exercise, even if you don't like having your photo taken, is to document the things that you love.

I have loved the window displays at the mall, especially this children's/mommy's clothing store in the Philippines. I've had this photo for a while before I decided that I should finally scrap it since I want to remember the things that inspire me.

I used two of my favorite Queen Kat Designs Stamps on this: the Library Card Stamp and the Chandelier Stamp.

Quick tip: This is also an easy way to use up all those tiny scraps of your favorite patterned paper that you can't bear to throw away. Just layer and layer and layer.

Hope you have a great ink-filled day!
