Going places

I got these self-laminating bag tags and had a little bit of fun with some of my favorite QKD Stamps.
And these are the back with my name on Dymo tape.

These are just so fun and easy to make. Think ATCs but for a practical purpose.
What I love about scrapbooking is discovering little ways we can incorporate little sources of inspiration in our daily lives.

For these bag tags, I used QKD's Russian Dolls Stamp Set, the bicycle and cat from the Ride With Me Stamp Set, the Going Postal Stamp Set, and Random Text Background Stamp.

Altered paper bag

We had some take-out the other night and it came in this paper bag. I just couldn't wait to decorate it. Here's what I ended up with.

The paper bag is decorated on both sides, with the stamped collage pieces as a focal point. The patterned paper on these are actually origami paper.

Here are the goods: Queen Kat Designs Geisha Girls # 1 Stamp Set, Random Text Background Stamp, Funky Swirl Stamp, Hibiscus Stamp, Prosperity Crane Stamp Set.

Hope you have a great ink-filled day!

Easy ATCs

These ATCs were just so fun and easy to make:

1. Swipe different colors of ink as your background.
2. Stamp Queen Kat Designs Vintage Time Background Stamp and overstamp Random Text Background Stamp for backgrounds.
3. Attach vintage images.
4. Use Dymo tape for sentiments and adhere. Sometimes, the ink will be too wet for the Dymo tape to adhere properly. Stick Dymo tape to white cardstock and then adhere to collages.
5. Edge all sides with black ink.

Have a great ink-filled day!

Collage Fun

When I first saw the Queen Kat Designs' Random Text Background Stamp and Vintage Time Background Stamp, I just could have died of happiness.
You know when you see the most gorgeous stamp you've ever seen and your mind races to think about projects that you can use it with? Well, in this case, Queen Kat Designs created two of them.
Here are some simple 2 x 2 collages I made and instructions on how I made them:
1. Randomly smear different colors of ink as a background. Edge with black ink.
2. Stamp QKD Random Text Background Stamp and Vintage Time Background Stamp with red ink.
3. Adhere vintage images. Alter them with colored pencils and pens.
4. Attach Dymo tape for thoughts or quotes.
Thanks so much for looking and hope that you have an ink-filled day.
*hugs*
Nina
