The first thing I created was this:
It's a tooth fairy box! I made it for my son, as he is almost 7, so I reckon he'll be losing some teeth pretty soon. This box will make it super easy for the tooth fairy to find his teeth. I used an empty canister from Prima Flowers. The stamp I used was the Berry Fairy. I colored her body and hair with copics. Then I paper pieced her dress, and her wings are paper pieced from a piece of glimmer misted paper. Next, she needed a tooth for her wand. I used shrink plastic to make it so tiny. I drew a tooth on the shrink plastic, baked it in the oven for about 5 minutes, and when it was done, I mounted it on a Stickled toothpick. I added some patterned paper and stickers, and I used Stickles to make the glittery border.
The second project I made is this:
It is a recipe box. In the first photo, you can see it from the side. I actually made the entire box from cardstock using a template. Then I decorated the front with some October afternoon paper and ribbon. The stamps come from a new release set, "From my kitchen", which will be available in the store on Wednesday. The set includes the sentiment shown here as well as the utensil stamp, and also some cupcake stamps, a cookie jar, and some bowls and more utensils. Perfect for making a gift for someone.
