Challenge #4: Party Clean Up

So the party's over and all the guests have gone home... You're left with a big mess and some nice gifts. Lets ignore the mess.. After all the maid will get it, right? But we can't ignore our friends who brought the gifts and celebrated with us!

Lets make some thank you cards. your challenge is to make a thank you card using a cat stamped image and some kind of bling.. whether it's glitter, rhinestones or anything else shiny it's up to you!

Challenge #3: Party Favors

Ok.... so... it's day 3 of our challenge chain in our 4th birhtday celebration.. We need some party favors for the friends who join us. There are so many possibilities for this it's all up to you what you make.. some ideas are:

candy boxes, bags or packets, mini baskets, covered journals with a pen, 2011 calendars, wrapped and stamped candles, paper cake slices, anything is a go for this! Make 1 item from the list or come up with your own party favor using at least 1 stamped image and the color purple.

We are celebrating our birthday KAT style! Today we have a yummy kitty challenge for you! We need cake for our birthday, don't we?? What's a birthday party without some sweet chocolate cake with cream cheese icing? OH MY! Now that I'm craving cake, lets make one!

Make a card or ATC using some kind of cake or cupcake image... and add some glitter somewhere on the cake! the card must have at least 3 layers of paper or cardstock. The rest is up to you.

Challenge 1: Birthday Party Prep

Welcome to the first challenge of the celebration! We are excited to have you at our party. There are lots of prizes to be given out. We have a grand prize of a $50 Gift Certificate for rubber stamps at the QKD store and some prizes that have been generously donated by our stamp designers: Kristie, Melia and Che! So get your challenge on and lets party!!!

Since we are celebrating our birthday... we need to prep for the party, right? Here's your challenge... Make any of the following items that you'd typically use if you were getting ready for a fun birthday party....

Verona's Challenge

Hello again bloggers! It's challenge day again. I have a fun challenge planned for you today. It's anything BUT a card!

So... Here's our weekly inspiration. Today's masterpeice comes from our friend Andrea Murdock whom we miss very much here at Queen Kat Designs.

Andi created this fun paint can/ candy pail using our cute Tabitha Mermaid stamp. Since Halloween's coming up very soon I wanted to challenge you to make your own Halloween docoration or usable item.

Here's the challenge this week...
1. Make anything you want EXCEPT a card or tag
2. Include at least 1 stamped image that's colored in Halloween colors
3. Your item must be something that you can display for the season or use on the special day (pail, sign, candle wrappers, candy wrappers.. etc.) And it can be a gift if you'd like.

How easy is that challenge? Take it and post your creation by next week for a chance to win!

Today is a special inspiration for you. I was searching the QKD gallery for the purrrrfect card to inspire us this week and came across this awesome card that Keely made...

I never would have thought to put different mermaids on 1 card! Keely, this is genius!!! So.. Here's the challenge for this week...

1. Use 1 cupcake on your card (sticker, stamped image, patch, ribbon, anything with a cupcake on it)
2. Use at least 2 stamped images on your card
3. Use 3 different things on your card (can be embellishments, papers, cardstocks, trims or anything other than a stamped image.)

Oh I'm so exctied about this challenge! I just love this card.
