Ms. Callie

Hey guys! I've been a bad host this month!! Callie Zenner is our Guest Designer and I haven't been keeping up with posts. I'm sorry Callie.

Here's a card that she made with QKD stamps!

I love how she used the Swizzle Background stamp! More from Callie to come next Sunday.

Tag you're it!!! (Sneek Peak)

Whether you are a scrapbooker or stamper,

you will love all the possibilities of the new journaling tags coming out this week!

I had so much fun playing with it!!!

Don't forget to join us Wed for all the new stamp releases!!!!

Let's Get HAPPY!

Get the Happy Frame Set that is!!!!

What a sweet set (and by the way it is on sale right now!!!)! There are so many things you could do with this set...just to send a simple 'hello' card...or even better, the frame would be PERFECT to hold a small picture! You can make it look elegant, or fun....you could use it on any card, from a 'manly' card to a 'kids card' and every thing you could think of in between!

Here are two cards I whipped up....the first one is a little more 'formal'....

And then with this one I even used the Dots Background stamp to add some fun whimsy to the die cut paper....

All I gotta say is this is one stamp set that will be used OVER AND OVER!!! So, what ya waiting on????

Fun Times at the Zoo!

At the end of last year, while my sister was home on Winter Break for the holidays, we decided to hit up a local drive-thru safari and zoo! So my hubby, my sister, a close friend of her's, and me all jumped in my car and headed north to Lion Country Safari! It's about 45 minutes away from where we live. We had a blast and took over 100 pictures that day!!!! We even had a zebra walk in front of our car on the drive-thru safari section! It was awesome!

Here is a recent layout I did with a few pictures from our trip using the new Little Yellow Bicycle Line "Baby Safari". Very fun patterns to work with and great color combinations! I also used a couple of my favorite QKD stamps on this LO.... Monkey and Swirl Journal!!

I LOVE VINTAGE...

So, it's really no secret how much I love the newly released Vintage stamps... and especially Gretta. I love that you can use the full image or just parts of her to make various projects. With this card, I decided to use my favorite color combo: not quite navy (deep blue) with any shade of green (here kiwi kiss).

What is your favorite color combo? Just leave a comment and let me know... and be sure to check back on Wednesday for a super fun challenge.

Inky hugs,

Beverly

Super Saturday!!

What is so supper about this Saturday? It is just a great day. I don't have any new projects to post since my computer decided to bite the dust this week. Definitely not a pretty picture -- just think about losing everything you have installed on your computer - six years worth of installations and you get the picture. But, I did save my pictures before the black screen of death!

So, I am dragging out some of my favorite projects from the QKD gallery. Notice I said projects! Yes, don't be limited by your stamps, use them to explore the possiblities!

Here is a layout by Jules -- Love her stuff!!! Jules used the February kit for this fab layout! Don't you wish you had the kit!!! Make sure you sign up so you don't miss the next one!!!

And here's a layout by Nina; Nina is a former DT member for QKD and has such a great flair!
