A Fun Farewell From KellyJean

I thought it would be appropriate to make my

last post here at QKD one with a "thank you" note.

Designing for Vicki here at Queen Kat

has been quite a fun trip and I am appreciative.

*

I love this little note of thanks because it's so "me."

Clean (good thing, right?!)

Extremely cute (well, the Build a Teddy set is anyways, LOL.)

Short (literally, I'm 5') and sweet.

Thanks, Vicki, for the fun.  I wish you all the best!

Magestic Monday

How 'bout them apples?!

"Apple Basket" is a new image, released this month,

from Queen Kat Designs.

I really like this image because the basket is so well designed.

Coloring it was so easy and it looks so realistic now.

Be sure to visit http://www.katstamps.com/store/

today to pick up your "Apple Basket!"

*

If you visited my blog last Wednesday or

participated in our amazing QKD blog hop,

this card probably looks familiar.

As promised on my blog,

brought to you today is a bit more fun

to tag along with my fun fall card.

*

AN ENVIE!

(That's "envelope" for those not familiar with craft text. he he.)

Of course, I stamped the front with only the TOP

of my "Apple Basket" image.

Then I used my patterned paper to dress up the back.

If you have any questions on how I did this,

please feel free to contact me.

*

Happy apples today!

Magestic Monday

Hey, thanks for gracing us with your royal presence

on this very Magestic Monday!

Here at Queen Kat Designs, I believe the customers

are just as "royal" (if not more) than the DT members!

(Let's face it, if you weren't a part of what we do...

we'd have nothing to do! Right?!)

So again, thanks for visiting!

*

As promised this past Wednesday during the

Royal Blog Hop on my blog

http://dancingwithstamps.blogspot.com/

I bring you a bit of a fun addition to my card...

A BEAUTIFUL AND FUN ENVELOPE!

*

Check it out!

All I did was use the same stamp set "2 Step Tree"

by Queen Kat Designs

for my envie that I did for my card!

I color spritz a bit of color onto the back portion

and how about that cute little owl on the front!

Easy!

*

What are you thankful for today?
Me, I am thankful for YOU (and Queen Kat, of course!)
Have a very magestic Monday!

Majestic Monday

Here is wishing you a joyous Majestic Monday!
I get so excited around this time of the month...
Queen Kat's new releases are
just around the corner!!!
Until then, enjoy these images from
"Vintage Time" and "Take a Journey."
recently released for August.
*
Head on over to the store...
http://www.katstamps.com/store/
so you can get your sweet stampin' fingers
on these images and more.
The queen always has a great deal going on!
Be sure to check out the KITS...
everything you need all in one great package.
*
Blessings,

Majestic Monday

Try something new today...

decorate the INSIDE of your card!

I don't do this often enough

because I get in such a hurry and simply forget.

But let's face it,

who doesn't love pulling a decorated envie from their mailbox?

And why not keep the fun going

by having them open their lovingly handmade card

and continue to feel the love?!

*
I used QKD's
http://www.katstamps.com/store/
"Rocker Bird".
Queen Kat offers "KITS" that include

everything you need

to decorate the outside as well as the inside of your creations.

Check them out when you visit the store!

*
May your blessings ROCK today!

Majestic Monday

Celebrate indeed!
Time just seems to fly by for me these days!
This is why I chose this verse from "Take a Journey"
and matched it with this image "Vintage Time."
(You can find both of these stamp sets in the QKD store...
http://www.katstamps.com/store/)
*
Life is a journey, is it not?!
And life was meant to be celebrated!
So celebrate your journey, your life TODAY.

Majestic Monday

This card really makes me "want to be there."

he he he...

"Honolulu Skyline" by QKD

looks so fun... you can't help but

wish to be there!

*

To create the "mirrored" look,
I simply stamped the image right side up,
reinked and stamped it upside down.
That's it! Can you believe it?!
The way this image is designed,
the details are playful and forgiving enough
that the "mirrored" look is very easy to create.

*

Have a blessed and majestic day!

Majestic Monday

Every Wednesday, we celebrate our
Royal Wednesday Blog Hop.
Each Wednesday, the QKD DT brings to you
fabulous tips, tricks, and ideas
to inspire all levels of creativity.
A "challenge" for each Wed Blog Hop is posted
to spark your creative enthusiasm.
But trust me, the word "challenge" doesn't mean
to participate will be a challenge!
In fact, the "challenges" are only meant to get you
thinking and creating so you can have fun.
*
This past Wednesday, our Blog Hop Challenge
was to create a "special gift box."
So this was my submission.
SO quick and easy
thanks to these fun summer images from
"Honolulu Skyline" and "Aloha Spirit!"
To have these images for yourself,
check out the QKD store here...
http://www.katstamps.com/store/
*
Hope your Monday is very "majestic!"

Majestic Monday

Can you believe this rockin' image?!
I just think it's so stinkin' cute!
Visit Queen Kat Designs here...
http://www.katstamps.com/store/
to get your "Rocker Bird" today!
I'm having so much fun with her!
*
So the outside says, "Big chics don't cry..."
and the inside reads,
"unless it's absolutely neccessary
to get what we want!"
he he he...
Have a fun day!

Majestic Monday

Stacking dolls always remind me of

family or friendship.

They always stay together.

(warm hearted smile)

I came up with this verse on my computer

to go with "Russian Dolls" by QKD.

Adorable, right?

Head on over to the store to get yours!

*

Blessings,

Majestic Monday

Rock On is RIGHT, baby!

he he he...

I just love this playful image!

I couldn't help but give her a funky design.

Hang Ten!

When I see this image "Honolulu Skyline,"

I think of someone saying, "Hang Ten!"

I love it!

This image works great for a guy or a gal!

Skip back a few days if you missed the

new releases for July.

Or click here...

These new images are VERY fun and fabulous!

Majestic Mondays

You've been seeing alot of these "Shroomies" lately.

They are quite popular!

You will want to be sure to swing by the

QKD store and pick them up today.
*

My sentiment is handwritten
and it's REALLY buggin' me!
Isn't that funny?!
It's not that bad but...
YKWIM.
I don't think I know of anyone
who loves their own handwriting.
I actually like mine,
just not on my cards.
I refuse, however,
to TYPE my personal messages
for my cards.
There is nothing more heartwarming
than a sweet personal note
from a friend.
(I don't get those much...
it's okay to feel sorry for me...
as long as it's enough to send me a card...
right now...
no pressure...
LOL!)
*
But seriously,
I strongly believe a sweet little
handwritten note or message
means all the world to most people.
So try it today!
HANDwrite a note to someone you love.
They will love it!
*
Check out
Queen Kat Designs
for this "Shroomies" image and more!

Majestic Monday

So I bought a bag of buttons
and these HUGE ones happened to be
in amongst the batch of buttons.
Talk about "out of this world!"
he he he...
I didn't think I'd ever use them
but "Space Girl"
is so cute and unique
that they compliment her nicely, I think.
*
Be sure to check out
Queen Kat Designs
for this cute and funky image
as well as tons more.

Majestic Monday

Whoot Whoot, for you!
You are up and at them this bright
and Magestic Monday!
(I know it's tough but we'll get through it, he he.)
*
Used my "Hoot" stamp from
Queen Kat Designs
for this cute encouragment greeting.
*
You don't have to have a specific
reason to send a card like this.
I think I will send it to let
a friend know I've been thinking of her.
And when I think of her,
I think of how great it is that
she is my friend.
That is reason to
"Whoot Whoot!"
*
Have a great "whootin'" day!

Majestic Monday
